idling takes many forms, during that time ALL your apps/programs phone home, browsers caches remaim open - live feeds are updated and many other programs/Apps are still running in the background.

please check your Device drivers, no yellow ! hopefully, if its showing please update the driver

if camera is not showing then its likely been dissabled via a Bios setting
