Thanks guys. I am still seeing the popup. I do not want to risk screwing up my 2010 programs or the registry so will leave as is. Hopefully I will find a resolution.
My Office 2010 Pro is still functioning as it did the day it was installed. However I often see the attached pop up so I don't want to risk installing it again.
My wife sometimes uses my PC as she networks in to Money 2005 on my PC through her PC.
She would not know what to do if this pops up...
My wife had access to a specific file on my PC, for some reason she can no longer do that.
Her PC used to be seen on the Network from my PC now it's not there. I Have no idea why and I cannot remember how I set it up.
The File is 'shared' on my PC.
Today I got a nice photo on the lock screen again, so maybe the problem was the bug. I don't think I changed any settings in personalization when I looked through the options but hey, it's back (y):-)
Thank you for the link, however I do not have a clue as to what I should do. Why on earth do I have to go through all these instructions (Which I will probably mess up) when I didn't ask for the photos to be removed? An old phrase it is but here it is very appropriate; 'If it aint busted don't...
All of a sudden my startup screen has started showing the boring blue screen instead of the nice photos it did before. I have looked at this forum and the Personalization section of the settings. but have not found how to get this back.
Any suggestions?

In Win11 it looks like Microsoft has split many parts of the old Control Panel which makes...
Thank you for the reply, being a non tech OAP I will need to find my 'protocol' and what RDP and SMB are short for. Nothing untoward but there are some confidential files that I need to keep confidential.
There is a file on my PC that my wife needs access to, I had this setup on my Win10 and had no problems.
I have managed to access the file but only by clicking on the Network icon of her PC then I have to enter all the credentials again of my PC before she can access it.
Is there a Save...
