    I have learnt to move the files & sub-folders myself if there is any added complication such as this one. If something unexpected happens during the move, such as any inability to access the target folder, Windows will lose all those files & sub-folders irrevocably . It's not like moving things...

    @LSF, That is a very important discovery. If your cell starts with ' then it forces Excel to treat the cell as text. Look in the formula bar not the cell itself - the cell itself does not display leading ' symbols. Denis

    Sorry, that's the wrong way around. What is in the formula bar [the "fx box"] is what is in the cells themselves.     That's what I have already explained. I have just been running on battery in order to take a screenshot of the time to full charge being displayed when I put AC power back on. I noticed that, until I had used up just over 20% of the battery, it showed what you have been talking about...
