  1. Solved Optimizing Fan (Currently Too Loud) - Browsing/Desktop Only

Thanks everyone, I've found a solution. For anyone how also has an MSI motherboard, maybe this is helpful. MSI center allows you to create fan profile and switch between them. That's the solution I've found.
  2. Solved Optimizing Fan (Currently Too Loud) - Browsing/Desktop Only

My bad, I probably wasn't clear. Yes, I am NOT having temp issues. And, NO, I didn't mean to be able to change fan speeds "only the fly". I just meant that I want the fans to be as quiet as possible when browsing - and that I don't care about noise when doing heavy work (i.e. video editing)...
  3. Solved Optimizing Fan (Currently Too Loud) - Browsing/Desktop Only

This is what it shows when I have the browser open with 1 tab (this forum). Any additional info I should post? Here's the MSI Center screenshot: Case: Fractal Design North XL Charcoal TG Dark CPU Fan: Noctua NH-U12A Schwarz Internal additions: 3x Noctua NF-A12x25, 120 PWM

  5. Solved Optimizing Fan (Currently Too Loud) - Browsing/Desktop Only

Hi everyone! I'm posting here again because previously I've gotten such great help. I've invested in a new PC, and can't find out how to fix the fans to make the quieter. I've researched, and watched videos about adjusting fan curves but it seems very complex. Is there no easy way to deal...
  6. Solved Windows Change Boot Order

Found it in the advanced boot option settings, thank you! Issue resolved.
  7. Solved Windows Change Boot Order

Hi everyone! I've put my SSD into a new desktop computer. Now when I boot, it automatically goes into this LG recovery mode. Windows works fine. The issue is whenever I boot my PC, I have to press F11 and select the second option (Windows Boot Manager) to start Windows normally. If I turn on...
  8. Solved Windows Shutting Down "Randomly"

I'll mark the post as solved. I will do as some have suggested, simply return the unit as I can't be asked to spend hours trying to fix something when I just bought it a few days ago. Thanks everyone for the help & suggestions prior!
  9. Solved Windows Shutting Down "Randomly"

That's what I was thinking with all these issues ... Done my best with that already, both via the Intel Update App + MyAsus app + manual research. Put in a previous SSD, so I'll just take that out.
  10. Solved Windows Shutting Down "Randomly"

I can only say what the error messages say, and all of those say 383k
  11. Solved Windows Shutting Down "Randomly"

Doesn't that show the heat, the 383K can be converted to celsius? This was the random shutdown while idle with no load, no program running. In the MyASUS app, I see the CPU temp usually somewhere between 60-80C, while the often below 10% CPU load.
  12. Solved Windows Shutting Down "Randomly"

Thanks, I understand. I am just wondering should I even bother fixing these issues? I still have a few days left to return the system.
  13. Solved Windows Shutting Down "Randomly"

Can't install. Both versions say "unsupported platform".
  14. Solved Windows Shutting Down "Randomly"

I was away from my desk for a few minutes. After I came back, I saw that the computer had shut down (NOTE: while no software/program was running; basically just idle). In the event viewer, I see this which has to be the issue, right? I've seen the seem error message before when I have...
