Thanks! -- that's what I needed to know. Had already investigated with ShellExView and ccleaner (which, BTW, I discovered leaves crud behind when exited, not as badly as Adobe does, but still crud. Neither they, nor others I tried, get to second level context stuff -- MS refers to the items...

Nice things to know, but I want merely to remove the items within the handler. I must have 16 gajillion possibilities listed but I only use 'new folder', 'new shortcut', and occasionally 'new compressed'. Otherwise, If I want a new Excel file, I open Excel, etc.
