When I update the Samsung firmware I've found that it will not do it if you run Samung Magician from your regular User account by selecting Run as Administrator from the Right click menu. I must first sign in to my actual Administrator account then run Samsung Magician to update the firmware.

As of today all three of my machines have the new Start menu, including the unsupported machine.

I have had the new Start menu on my main machine for about a month, but not on the other two one of which is a non-compatible; the other machine that has not gotten the new menu has the same motherboard and CPU as the main machine, but different and much older graphics card so there's that.

With this update my main machine (System 1 in My Computer) had the Start Menu updated to the new style. System 3, which has the same motherboard and CPU as System 1, did not get the new Start Menu; neither did the noncompatible machine (System 2).

I had One UI 8 install to my S25 a couple of weeks ago and was just glad it didn't mess with my interface changes as I have the S25 setup like my old S10 looked, old and familiar.

Updated two supported machines, and one unsupported machine today, all quick and easy. Nice to only have need of clicking an .msu file to update the unsupported machine to 25H2.

That (i7 920) is a Legend. I had one but it now runs my brothers' computer which he uses to burn CDs and a little Internet. Underused. : ( I should give him an "upgrade."

For years I've used a certain version of the beginning of Beethoven's 5th as my ringtone. I always thought that was one of the purposes in having a Dumbphone when you can at least make it appear "smart."

Don't know why I'd be missing that when I went through the same procedures for all three machines and the other two seem to have everything.
