24H2 Offered and Patch Tuesday Updates.

Hi. We are currently on 23H2 and have the "Get Updates As Soon As Available " toggled off. We have just been offered 24H2 but we want to wait a few months before installing 24H2. We will pause Updates before Patch Tuesday and when we are ready to install the 23H2 Updates later next week we will Resume Updates. Is it the case that only the 23H2 Updates will be installed and not 24H2? We just wanted to avoid any installation of 24H2 when we check for updates. Thanks for your help. Mitch.

i too was offered 24H2 in the past few days on my box. i think you will continue to get windows updates through the normal channels and such, and 24H2 is always going to appear as an optional box for you to download and install.

I'm having no real issues with 23H2 and nothing that I am particuarly in need of with 24H2, so I'm just sort of waiting a bit. Eventually I will grab an image of my box and give it a spin. The box I run 11 on at home is a little test Beelink mini PC anyway....so it was purchased with the full intent of testing with it.

If you want to stay on the version you are on now but still get updates.

As long as 24H2 is shown as an optional update separate from the 23H2 Updates which would be auto downloaded and installed when we click "Resume Updates " that's fine. We just don't want 24H2 installed accidentally. I don't really want to go down the reg tweak route if we can just ignore the 24H2 offer until we are ready.

I remember using this screensaver long time ago but it stopped working during 23H2. After updating to 24H2 last night, this clock screensaver starts working again on its own.
