Still go with Mozilla Firefox for years never tried Chrome. Edge is okay IMHO

I used Chrome for years and after trying Edge (Chromium) a year ago, I switched. Edge has none of the baggage of Chrome and is better in every way. And it's a huge advantage that Edge is fully integrated with my Windows 365.

I have a dislike for Chrome due to it frequently being bundled with software which in my book equates to malware so never installed it on a PC, kind of stuck with it on Android stuff though although I put Firefox on my Tablet. 99.99% of the Time I use Firefox, which I've used ever since it first appeared and I use on both Windows, Linux, Samsung Galaxy Tablet and on my iPad. Edge I use sparingly as not overfond of it's interface and I have Pale Moon only on one PC.
It's very easy to synchronise bookmarks with Firefox between the various devices / Operating Systems and it looks the same on all of them.

I certainly agree with you about Chrome.

My phone is an Android Google Pixel 6 Pro and I replaced the native Chrome browser with Microsoft Edge (Chromium). Edge on my phone is also synchronized with my PC.

There are not that many browsers that are regularly updated, I would never even consider the latter.
For example Epic last time updated in October 2021. That is an epic fail, but hackers will love you.

Some users opinions/observations may be helpful, but, if you want to experience the best browser for yourself, you pretty much gotta take em all for a spin yourself.

Have tried most of these browsers, but keep coming back to Chrome and Firefox, Chrome for g-mail and Firefox for most of browsing.

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge Chromium are both based on open-source Chromium. Google Chrome sells your data to advertisers. Microsoft Edge does not. I've switched to Edge.

i stopped using chrome also for many reasons. I was using Edge for the last year but I just switched to firefox and I am overly joyed at the complete overhaul it has gotten. Edge was slower than molasses to load etc unlike firefox has lightning speed. Pages change almost instantly without loading. Ive used Vilvaldi which is nice for the geeks who like to tweak and ive tried lots of other browsers but in the end my pick today is straight up Firefox.
