Yes, you read that right. There's no escape from being tracked apparently.....if the phone doesn't give you away your car will..... Strange world we live in....WTF...

Instead of using a camera with a clear line of sight to the car, hackers can hypothetically track it using the wireless signals emitted by the car's tire sensors. That signal is continuously sent out as an unencrypted unique ID number.

Basically, anyone nearby with a cheap radio receiver can pick up the signal and later recognize the same vehicle without ever seeing the license plate.

The researchers were able to capture signals from more than 50 meters away from moving cars, through walls and from inside buildings. The tire pressure readings helped reveal the vehicle type, its weight and the driving pattern of the driver. It's a cheap, tough-to-detect, potentially covert tracking method.

And once you drive away—they lose the signal. What a fuss!

It would be a lot easier just to note the license plate number/vehicle registration number which is in plain site!

It really is crazy how many things are Wi Fi or Bluetooth enabled nowadays. the tech industry went crazy by slapping everything they could with those.

Is there really a reason for a Bluetooth toaster? You can adjust the bread toasting & other things from your phone, 30 feet away, but seriously, why? Not like you can put the bread in it the night before unless you want really hard toast.

There also exists a Bluetooth toilet with all kinds of bells & whistles. Problem is, the access code it hardwired into it & can't be changed. That code is 1 2 3 4. So someone could access your toilet from outside the house, turn on the bidet & flood the bathroom.

Time to leave certain things out of the loop when it comes to Wi Fi & Bluetooth. That includes the Bluetooth toothbrush that monitors how long you brush your teeth & gives you a warning if you didn't brush long enough.
