Add Widgets option not available after Win 11 26200.6899 25H2 update

The Win 26200.6899 update completed successfully on my laptop. I have read through the tutorial posted here which explains how to add widgets to the Lock Screen. In step 2, the "Your Widgets" card does not appear. Still see "Lock screen status" card instead. I have the Widgets taskbar option turned off. Does this impact my ability to Add/Remove widgets of my choosing to the Lock screen?

I believe the Win 11 core widget feature must be turned on. You don't have to display the taskbar widget icon though.

How do I check if the Win 11 core widget feature is turned on? I have the Lock screen set to "Weather and More" which does display as expected.

Open Taskbar settings and make sure the Widgets switch is set to on.

By switching the Widgets in the Taskbar settings to on, the widgets icon (Weather) does display in the Taskbar and there is no change to the Lock screen settings.

Your not by chance using Winearo Tweaker and used it to disable UAC have you. Reason I ask is that will disable the lock screen cards and certain other features.

No I am not using the Winearo Tweaker.

Knowing that the Widgets functionality works for the most part (the default ones are shown on the Lock Screen and the Widget/News Feeds are available from the taskbar) I suspect that the Windows Web Experience Pack is out of date. However I did not find an update available in the MS Store. I have version (525.24401.50.0) on my computer which is dated 9/18/2025. Can anyone confirm that this is the latest version?

I also noted using winget that the version is listed as "Unknown".
