Am i the only one left for updates to builds ?

Hey gang, just wondering if i am the only one still waiting ?
Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.708) .... 5/24/22
Do you think it's necessary to update to get the builds or stay where i am ??

You are not the only one. Lots of people rely upon the unpredictable Windows Update for new builds and get new builds months later, sometimes not at all.

Not only is it more reliable to do manual updates to builds by using the ISO file, it is faster too.

As @NavyLCDR said - you're not alone.

My rig is on fully stable builds only, so I'm right where you are. I have 3 VMs that are running the Dev build, the Beta build and the RP build, but my live system is on stable. I need it that way, I have too much work to do to try to troubleshoot system issues from running a pre-release OS. And he can probably tell you, I used to be of the exact opposite mind, I Was running Insider builds of Windows 10 for a few years directly on my rig as a daily driver.

It's all in what you need - do you need to test for things that might break, or do you need stability? Knowing the answer, pick accordingly.

Both of my Win11 RTM computers are up-to-date but will wait until the usual 2nd Tuesday [Patch Tuesday] to see what is next.

That is sound advice knowing what you want and going for it, I have a machine in the dev and dual boot to RP but this, my best machine is on stable builds along with the Household pc

I'm still on .708
I switched from Insider to the regular channel on Oct 6th. One day after the official release.
I haven't seen any 22H2 noise from Windows Update, yet.

Me... I'm gonna wait. As far as I know the only change I care about, that I will see with 22H2, is that it will take away my Win 10 File Explorer ribbon, and I really hate the Win 11 version.

Interesting. I like the new File Explorer in W11. I like the new action icons instead of looking through menu item names.

I just now asked my wife, who isn't a techie, but does use her computer several hours every day, if she liked the new W11 File Explorer. She brought it up, looked at it, and said, "I don't see any difference".

Ghot & TraderGary, it's ok with me if they never update, i use 3 of my computers for testing which programs remove Malware & other infections ! I work a lot on the Dark Web researching so i'm good with what ever system i'm running ! Be Safe out there ............
Oh & my wife uses her computer to play games and visit on Face Book so she is ok with any system !
