Hi,
My newly installed Windows 11 24h2 wont allow me to open/run PHONE LINK app. Whenever I try to open this app I get the error msg. This Feature Has Been Blocked By Your System Administrator. Contact System Administrator for more Info.

Now this PC is having only one account (Microsoft Account) and that too with Administrator Privileges. ( As I have freshly installed this Windows, I definitely remember that I have blocked nothing on this system yet. I tried running the app in Run As Admin mode also, with no luck.

How do I enable/unblock this app again?

(Windows 11 Pro. 24H2 - 26100.4652)

Is your account a work or school account?

Through Windows Settings
  1. Open Settings (Win + I)
  2. Go to Accounts > Access work or school
  3. Look at the listed accounts:
  • If you see an account labeled as Work or School, it's linked to an organization.
Via Account Info

  1. In Settings, go to Accounts > Your Info
  2. Check the description below your name:
  • If it says “Work or School account,” it’s managed by an organization.
  • “Local account” or “Microsoft account” means it’s personal.

Hey,
This is my personal account (Microsoft account) not connected with any school or work system.
As I said, I freshly installed 24h2 (over 22h2 (as it was not upgraded automatically) and haven't touched any special settings yet(gpedit or anything like that)

Those things need to be asked/checked, regardless.

Open Powershell as admin

Reset App permissions:

Powershell:
Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.YourPhone -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Re-enable all app execution:

Powershell:
Get-AppxPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

And try running this tutorial:
