How long would it take to clean install Windows, updates, MS Off and other apps while creating full backups at each step?

Only guesses can be made as end users can choose:

a) whether to install or not install drivers

b) whether to install or not install applications

c) whether they have a very slow to very fast download speed for Windows updates

d) whether to accept or not accept driver updates during Windows updates


In general Windows updates can be performed overnight.

If Dell, HP, etc. are used, their software can automatically check and install many drivers overnight.

There is no one answer fits all for that question. It all depends on the system.

I would expect to take 1 hour for just a clean Windows 11 and all its updates. Not including any office, other apps or backups.
