Audio Dropping on Streaming Programs (OBS & Livestream Studio) with Windows 11

Hello All,

I am having an issue where my audio is dropping in OBS and in Livestream Studio. The audio feed will be steady for anywhere from 10-30 seconds and then the audio will drop completely for half a second to a second and then return. I have also noticed that if the decibels are too high then the sound will not return until I bring the volume down (I can see the audio level drop on screen). It makes me think there is some sort of audio limiter with Windows 11... I should also note that I can see this in both OBS and Livestream Studio while I am offline, so it is not an internet connectivity issue. All the sound drivers are up to date as well.

Additionally, I am using an ATEM Mini Pro to send my video and audio feed into my computer. While monitoring the levels on the ATEM Mini Pro, the levels never drop. When I monitor the levels in Livestream Studio in a different computer that is using Windows 10, the levels never drop. I feel like I have narrowed this down to something involving Windows 11, but I am at a loss of what to try. If it helps I'm using Version 22H2 of Windows 11.

Thank you in advance to any who reply,

Peter

Did you ever get a solution to this? I have been searching for MONTHS and your post is the first mention I've seen of the problem I'm having.
