I've never ripped an LP to PC so I can't say which software there works best, but were doing so back then, it probably would have been Roxio, so I think you have the right software.

BTW, I had (still have) a dedicated CD player that was also a CD recorder (Pioneer PDR-509) so that's how I used to copy LPs to CD. Worked very well, and why I still have it, though it's been years since I used it. Here's one on e-Bay for $305 which is a little high, but it says it was "fully serviced and tested", so.... Might be able to find one cheaper, though all the cheaper ones I saw was missing the remote, which I suggested you have.

Anyway, do let us know how the software works out.

I bought an older version of this, (about 100 years ago!!!), paid $29.99..., I did VHS tapes, audio cassettes and LP's.

Since my record player hooks into my computer via both USB and Bluetooth, I think I'm just in need of the software that detects the silence between songs in order to correctly split the songs into separate MP3s. For less than $29 USD for Roxio LP to MP3, I'm hoping the software will do the trick.

Be warned, it's an arduous process! For me, the irreplaceable family VHS's were fine, but, for LP's, you basically have to sit there and babysit them while they play, making sure they don't skip or bump!
I finally resorted to hunting for and buying fresh tracks online.

Yeah, I thought about the babysitting process. She has one or two albums that are only still available on album but not CD and definitely not digital tracks. Well, one technically is available on CD from Ebay, but all the copies I have seen are $80USD or more! She has the vinyl, so I'll be babysitting it.

So I created an account on Qobuz, bought some Hi-Res tracks, and, they are Hi-Res...

however, I'm A/B'ing listening's, using Sony WF-C500 earbuds...,
the tracks on my Galaxy A35, using Musicolet, (right), sound completely awesome...,
the same tracks on my Galaxy A54, using their app, (left), sound like crap!!!

Could it be because I haven't bought a subscription?

By the way, the same tracks on PC, using foobar, sound freaking awesome as well!

If you're paying the hi-res subscription, you should be getting the hi-res files. That said, just because you're paying doesn't mean your gear is able to take advantage of 24-bit / 192kHz FLAC files. This is where you need to understand what files your player/gear supports as not everything supports FLAC or 24-bit hi-res files. And some gear, especially small devices like phones and tablets will reconvert hi-res file into a standard 16-bit file to be able to play.

With that perhaps one phone sounds better because it's able to take advantage of the hi-res files, where the other isn't due to different hardware/software.

Not surprising since Foobar does support FLAC and Hi-Res playback

Unfortunately, YouTube does not output playback in 24-bit hi-res resolution. I'm listening to this album now and playback is only at 16-bit/44.1 playback running through my system. If the files were hi-res, my DAC play them at that res.

But yes, if you're actually listening on QoBuz and your system supports Hi-Res, that's what you get.

BTW, this still sounds good even at standard playback. Love the grandness of this piece. Thanks for posting. I might have to find a copy of that. Perhaps @Edwin can point me in the right direction

Yes I do. Have a DAC capable of HiRes up to SACD. And audiophile Sennheiser headphones.

Headphones are irrelevant as they play no part in hi-res support. They can screw up the sound, but that's headphones themselves not the file support.
