The newly-reported issue is separate from the gaming tests below, which outline the impact of security features, and merely serve to set a lower baseline for our tests. Microsoft is taking yet more backlash over its Windows 11 launch, as recent reports indicate that buyers of new pre-built systems could purportedly lose up to 28% of their gaming performance due to frame-rate-crushing security measures. That has gamers up in arms, so we did several rounds of testing in our labs with some of the best CPUs for gaming from Intel and AMD.

Need a performance or gaming section chill room is inappropriate place for this :)

I disable virtualization features in bios personally so this feature can't be used.

Unlike other reports, we didn't see a drastic drop in gaming performance with Windows 11's VBS security switched on.

Without reading the article, I would say, no they do not. At least I haven't seen any problems.

But, I have VBS disabled as well as Hyper-V virtualization.

These things are the reason why the older CPU's are not officially supported by Win 11. Microsoft has plans to further utilize these security measures and it might not be so easy to turn them off in the future.
