I've run into a couple of times where the browser was confused with being the Operating System, must be due to more things being added to the browsers.

Groan - there must be a zillion posts asking which is best browser.

There is only one answer - the best browser is the one that suits you.

OP has asked for an opinion (albeit refers to OS) but here is the thing - all responses are random.

OP would be far better reading various websites that describe differences in detail to make an informed choice. Of course, again, rather than asking a rather unanswerable question, OP could just install each and make up their own mind.

Firefox for many years here. I like to make a browser my own. FF has the options for me to do that. I never liked Chrome much so since Edge is Chromium based it's too much like Chrome for my liking. The only time I use Edge is for my banking. It seems to be required for a Windows computer.
