I updated the BIOS for my Gigabyte X570 board today. The BIOS file from Gigabyte shows the checksum as 1CD3 on their download page. When I go to install it, the system verifies the BIOS but shows the checksum as 98FE. It installs without error and everything seems fine.
To be honest I've never taken much notice of this but wondered why they would be different?
