Bluetooth and SnippingTool "infected" by OneDrive

OS
Windows11
I suspended OneDrive via the Registry and thought all was good. However, when I transfeerred a file from the ols computwer to the new via Bluetooth, it ended up in a newly automatic OneDrive folder... The same is happening with screenshots aqcquired with SnippingTool

I assume that these apps are "infected" by Win11 to make sure that IOneDrive is active. I don't ~know what is the solution by I hope that I can uninstall both resident apps and search for replacements like Window10 Snipping Tool

Any ideas?

Thanks

Simple, go to OneDrive App and disconnect from your device, or you can just uninstall OneDrive.

Rather too simple for MS conspiracy theorists.

My first problewm is that OneDrive is nowhere to be seen in my ndew laptop. I found out where the .exe file resides only by searching the Registry

Nothing comes up If I search OneDrive and there is no icon anywhere. But I solved that problem except for the SnippingTool and the Bluetooth. The fist maybe easy to replace with another app. Bluetooth is more problematic

Or better yet, check/change where the files are being saved....

That not an "infection" but rather an end user decision.

Any ideas?
Yeah, make sure any snips, transfers, or whatnot are NOT defaulted to save to the OneDrive folder. The items you say are going there aren't doing so on their own, someone chose that save location. Simply look at where the files are going to be saved before hitting save/save as/download.

Any snips I do, whether the Snipping Tool, or Snagit are saved to my desktop cause that's where I told the tools to save snips to.

@qim

Re-install OneDrive, then use REVO Uninstaller (free) to uninstall OneDrive.
After it uninstalls...it will ask to scan for leftovers... tell it YES.
Then delete all the leftovers it finds.

Just to be extra sure... reboot the computer.
