Hi folks
It's 100% possible to install W11 from within an XP VM -- have a go just for fun --- it's obviously of no practical use - but it's fun just "because it can be done".

No Cheating -- use 32 bit Win XP not the 64 Bit version.

(I've obviously got too much spare time today !!!).

Hint -- you CAN create a 64 bit guest from within a 32 bit WIN XP system - so long as you have a 64 bit capable CPU and VT-X or equivalent enabled -- pretty well any machine in the last 10 years has those. Performance won't be great but you'll need to enable 2nd level (or nested) VM's, !! and if using a USB device USB 2 is the best you can get so it won't be fast.

Remember also that 4GB is max host and guest can address on an XP system.

Cheers
