Hi,

I imported a bookmarks file to it and all is fine.

Later added I more folder with multiple subfolders.....

Now the issues that am facing is that the 1st bookmarks file displays the file extensions like Wiki, YouTube but the 2nd folder that I added later won't, till I open each book mark...…

Any remedy, solution....

Hoping hear from you experts as always.

Thanks.

It's quite common, most imported url's won't show a website favicon until it's entered into the browsers cache by a visit.
No quick remedy there, except right click a folder and choose 'Open all in Tabs' but, you still may have to view each tab!

Thanks @Edwin , for the detailed, expert solution. I had none idea about cache, but I knew I have to open each of 300 for the icon to show.....

Other option would be uninstall and reinstall Brave and than import the NEW file. But that's more hassle, syncing with Brave on my cell etc...

Thanks again!

Syncing is probably the most hassle-free way to go, it may not solve the favicon issue completely though.
Importing drives me nuts, especially in Chrome, it always creates a folder hierarchy from hell!
Not sure about Brave.
