Hello,
I've been having bsod or black screne problems for 2 years now. It used be 1 time per week or per month which didnt bother me but last week it started happening few times per day which is a problem for my working process. The problem appears when using adobe premiere or when i am just browsing randomly, it never happens when gaming which is strange. Everything freezes i keep hearing audio then black screen with audio stuck after few seconds, then it restarts either with blue screen for like half a second or no blue screen. I've removed any overclocks and undervolts the issue seems to be even worse.
here is the v2 collector file HOTA-(2022-10-24_18-02-00).zip

I hope I'm wrong but how you said you've been having problems for 2 years now gave me the idea to do some research and I see that your mobo is a 570 and the ram supports 560 when it comes to the brand gigabyte

Get the .zip version of CPU-Z and run it (portable)

Post a screenshot like this...

From your v2 log, it doesn't look like you're running your RAM at the manufacturer's specs, which could quite possibly be causing your BSODs.

That RAM hasn't been "tested" to work with your motherboard.
That doesn't mean it won't work, just that it hasn't been tested.

I also have an X570 motherboard running Gskill RAM.
By default, the BIOS will run the RAM at low speed and very tight timings.

I know this probably isn't making a lot of sense... let me explain...

The BLUE box is the speed and timings your RAM is running at. The RED box is the manufacturer's specs for your RAM.
Most of the time, setting the RAM frequency, timings and voltage to the manufacturer's specs will clear up the problems.

In the BIOS you need to set the frequesncy to 3600Mhz, the voltage to 1.35, and the timings to... 17-19-19-39-58, like shown in the RED box.

Image3.png

Onj the Tweaker tab in your BIOS, set the "Extreme memory Profile" to disabled.
Then under the "Advanced Memory Settings (I think), you'll find the settings for Frequency, timings and voltage.

You manual doesn't show those settings so I can't post a pic.

You want to find DRAM Frequency, DRAM voltage, and DRAM timings.
This is from MY X570 manual... your timings should look like these.
The ones in the BLUE box are how you want to set your timings...

0000000 RAM Timings.png

Sety the DRAM Frequency to 3600 Mhz, and the DRAM voltage to 1.35 volts, and the timings as shown in the pic.

I had this same issue with my build (in specs). Leaving the RAM at auto... caused all kinds of blue screens.
After setting the RAM to manufacturer's specs... haven't had one BSOD since.

If after settings the RAM to manufacturer's specs, the computer doesn't boot... just reset the BIOS to defaults...
Just short the Clear CMOS pins (with a screwdriver), in the RED box, with the power OFF ofc.

Here's when I did mine. I had to reboot a few times before it"took". :-)

I've been manually setting my RAM to manufacturer's specs for more than 15 years. On every build I make.

everything booted normally but i am not sure if i made it correct because cpu z is saying 18 instead of 17
Here is the bios
Not sure because it has two settings "ras to cas wr and rd deley"

It looks like you did it right. The timings should be in order top to bottom.
I would check in the BIOS again and double check what the CAS is.
18 is "looser" (easier) timing, than 17, so the only difference will be the RAM is running a teeny bit slower at CAS 18.

And I know CPU-Z says 1796 Mhz, but RAM is DDR (double data rate) so 1796 x 2 = approx. 3600 Mhz which is as it should be.

I'm guessing it'll be a LOT more stable now that it's NOT on auto.
Auto is a bit twitchy, in the RAM department.

Gigabyte motherboards support auto just fine. What the OP needs (needed) to do was turn on XMP. I've run 5 gigabyte motherboards and you can see system one in my system specs and there the RAM is running in XMP mode. And that build has been running since 2019 when it was first built.

Personally, if you're not sure what you're doing manually setting the RAM can degrade its performance over time, or immediately if the settings are wrong. XMP takes all the guess work of that. I know there's the contrarian thought, but most system builders run XMP instead of going manual, and especially if both RAM and board support it, which the X570 does. Add the CPU-Z also shows the RAM supports XMP.

Intel.
AMD CPUs aren't very fond of XMP or DOCP.

Well, all my Intel boards supporting XMP have never had had an issue, and I've got several builds posted between, Seven, Eight, and Ten forums. They all used XMP. Have been using it for years, never had an issue. Many people use it because it's far simpler to use than guess working what setting to use for manual setup. And I know how to manually set my RAM, but XMP is so much simpler.

And the only reason to not use XMP (if supported) is if you're an overclocker (CPU). And that depends on how far you overclock which may require you to downclock the RAM to get the CPU speed where you want it. Here it's best to manually set RAM timings and speed. But that's not for the faint of heart.

This doesn't appear to be a RAM related issue but rather either an issue with Adobe Premiere itself or your graphics card driver.

It happened again today with blue screen with System Service Exception error.
Here is the v2: HOTA-(2022-10-25_18-21-10).zip . Idk if that will help but most of the time crash happens when i am inserting footage into the project. Maybe it's a ssd issue idk.
