Using Mozilla Firefox, I want to clarify my Post here.
Top right hand corner - three bars.
On clicking this icon drop down menu - Bookmarks.
Only wish to keep relevant in use Bookmarks here.
On deleting them, for some reason they are also deleted elsewhere - I do not want this.
How can I do both please?
Both "areas" of Bookmarks are linked, deleting from one will update the other. Neither are isolated personal storage areas for selected bookmarks of the user's choosing. You can't keep/delete one bookmark in one area (Bookmarks toolbar and/or hamburger icon > Bookmarks) without the action being correspondingly reflected in the other area.Using Mozilla Firefox, I want to clarify my Post here.

Contact Mozilla. Also, they have their own forums where this might be raised. Your search engine wil be your friend.Thank you for clarifying this.
Now I'm not joking here, but how does one go about trying to change this please?

Not sure by what you mean by 'elsewhere'. In the file structure tree you choose which folder to delete from, just as when you add a bookmark you choose which folder you want to add a bookmark to. If you wish, you can duplicate bookmarks in multiple folders in both the toolbar and bookmarks menu simply by adding them in both places.without them being effected elsewhere?
As has been stated multiple times, it is how Firefox is designed to work and FF offers no methods for the user to change it. You would need to take it up with the folks at Mozilla if you have a beef with the design of how their application functions. If what you want was ever possible, it had to be in a very old version of FF. I've used FF for years and do not remember it being much different.Hamburger Bookmarks, just like to add and delete without it doing anything else.
I believe this was once possible, correct or not?
If correct who can I get in touch with, to try and get this back?
Would suggest to me that Mozilla don't think the time, effort and cost of (re)programming a piece of software is worth it. Simply the want of one individual user.Contacts, Spaces and Communities — Contact us been there, done that, no adequate response.
So is this just a refelection of Mozilla?
Any other contact suggestions please, I mean there must be someone who takes this browser seriously?
