Hi I have a Dell Latitude 3510, Windows 11, 34H2 and 16 gigs memory. I cannot update the latest version from Windows 11 when I try it wont go through. I will post the pic below to help you understand what I am talking about.

Turn off or uninstall your Anti Virus

If that fails: With Antivirus still disabled, turn off Secure Boot/Fast Startup (Turn them back on after)

Don’t worry about Microsoft Defender, I have not read of it interfering.
If manually downloading and installing the KB doesn’t work…

Secure Boot

To access the BIOS on a Dell Latitude 3510
  • Turn on the computer and repeatedly press the F2 key.
    • This should take you directly into the BIOS setup menu.
  • Once in the BIOS, locate the Boot Configuration section.
  • Disable “Secure Boot”
    • Find the section for “Boot Configuration (Page 87 of your manual.)
    • Look for “Enable Secure Boot”
      • Secure Boot is actually OFF by default in your laptop, so it may already be OFF.
    • (If ON) Turn OFF
  • Press Esc and a message should prompt you to save the changes.
  • Reboot.


    Fastboot
  • Find “Pre-boot Behavior”
    • There doesn’t seem to be an “OFF” option for Fastboot in your BIOS manual.
    • Set the Fastboot to “Minimal”
