Cannot start PowerShell

When starting Powershell, a window quickly appears and then disappears.

On the other hand, Powershell starts well from CMD console.

I also tried to install PowerShell 7, and it also quickly displays window and exits.

Powershell worked well before on this installation, so it is a result of some of my actions. Please, help.

No, just to start PowerShell using shortcuts in Control Panel/Windows tools, that were there by default. And PowerShell 7 also with standard shortcut from the start menu.

You can repair or reset Windows Terminal from Apps --> Apps & features.

You must have uninstalled the Windows Terminal, if you want you can install it from Microsoft Store.

Command Prompt cannot be launch with PowerShell.

By the way , command cmd.exe /c start powershell starts powershell for me (but in a too big window with big font).

You can start the PowerShell from Start Menu search for powershell.

You can open Command Prompt and type Powershell to switch to it.

How do people start Powershell in Windows 8?

From command prompt powershell starts well for me in the same console window, and the command cmd.exe /c start powershell either from a console or from "Run.." dialog starts powershell in a separate blue window. But the default shortcuts do not work.
