Can't get USB mouse/keyboard to work under Recovery Environment

I entered the Windows Recovery Environment (Shift-Restart) on my MeLE mini PC, but neither my USB mouse or USB keyboard are functioning once I get there. They work fine in Windows (25H2). The keyboard works fine in BIOS. Any ideas?

Well apparently Microsoft did again. The install of KB5066835 screwed the pooch. I hope today's update fixes it.

KB5066835 Is from Oct 14th, the source of the bug.
Patch was on Oct 20th, fixed the bug.

On October 22nd, according to Update History, I installed the following in this sequence.

1. 2025-10 .NET 8.0.21 Security Update for x64 Client (KB5068331)
2. 2025-10 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 24H2 for x64 (KB5066131)
3. 2025-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5066835) (26100.6899)
4. 2025-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5070773) (26100.6901)

I updated to v25H2 on the 27th.
