This tutorial will show you how to change the Notepad app theme to light mode, dark mode, or use system setting for your account in Windows 11.
Notepad is a fast and simple text editor that can be used to view, edit, and search through plain text documents instantly.
You can select to use a light, dark, or system setting app theme for Notepad.
Here's How:
1 Open Notepad.
2 Click/tap on the Settings (gear) button. (see screenshot below)
3 In Settings, click/tap on App theme to expand it open. (see screenshot below)
4 You can now select (dot) Light, Dark, or Use system setting (default) for what you want. (see screenshots below)
If you select Use system setting, then the Notepad app theme will vary depending on if you selected light or dark for App mode.
