W11 pro beta
My second pc, (specs listed) has had a change of processor today. Yesterday, I brought the BIOS up to the newest version and that change meant that I had to go to my Microsoft account, and get a code by email to put the exact same pin back in. After fitting the Ryzen 7 5700G today, I had to go through the same proceedure.
A bit time consuming but at least it shows that there is some security working.
I have decided to use the processor that was removed from the second pc in a third, and have just brought the BIOS up to date. For some reason, the pin is still working, I will see if the change of processor affects the pin this time. Update, I didn't have to reset the pin with this pc, maybe because it isn't in the insider programme.
