i get 2 different error codes one of them being : 0x80240438 and the other one being : 0x8024001e, they switch off and on after i do certain tasks to try and fix the error but i’ve tried almost everything you could possibly think of, i clean installed windows 11 4-5 times and even deleted every file, and preference, used different accounts to set up on, ive ran SFC and DISM.exe, and even tried deleting software distribution folder and restarting pc, to no avail it still has the same problem. any help would be appreciated.

Well, if you clean installed Windows 11... then it must be something outside of Windows 11.
Something with a driver, your WiFi, your router??
Maybe see what Event Viewer has to say, when you get these errors?

Before installing windows 11. Your using win10 right? and Windows update works?.

Please try also connect directly your modem ISP lan cable to ur PC if it will update.

Avoid using router for troubleshooting.

If direct from modem to your PC dont work maybe your ISP is the culprit?

Your not from russia right? =) because maybe MS is blocking your country =) Joke

We already know about that error code.
I meant see if there are any "other" Warnings or Critical that happened at the same time.

I'm trying to understand this.
You had this problem and tried 4-5 clean installs and you still have the problem?

and no not from win10, i've had win11 since it came out, and im connected directly to router, no wifi, just randomly booted up my pc one day and it failed an update and now its been doing this ever since. even on fresh clean install
Try Use ISP modem no external router connected. If still the same then your ISP is the problem.

I'm trying to understand this.
You had this problem and tried 4-5 clean installs and you still have the problem?
yes, atleast 4 or 5 times, and also the media creation tool wouldn't let me download the file and do it either, so i had to download rufus and put the ISO file on my USB to clean install, still same outcome every time.

Is your router and your modem, two separate pieces of equipment?

Are you using the same download when you do the clean installs? If you are, try downloading the ISO again.

You can try this...

Here is the short version of the In-place upgrade tutorial...

DISABLE non-Microsoft:
a) antivirus software
b) firewall software
c) drive encryption software

Make a full OS backup with a program like Macrium Reflect (free)
Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free

Go here and get the Windows 11 ISO (use the 3rd option), and save the ISO to your desktop.
Download Windows 11

000000 Win 11 ISO.png

Right click the ISO image and choose: MOUNT
Open File Explorer and you will see a new drive letter. It will "look" like a DVD optical drive.
Double click the new drive letter to open it.
Find setup.exe and double click it to start the in-place upgrade.

Choose the Keep personal files and apps option.

After it's all done... to UNmount the ISO image, right click the new drive letter and choose: EJECT.

The ONLY thing you will lose is some of your personalizations. Your programs and data will be intact.
