Creators express themselves in all kinds of ways and mediums. In the video below, you’ll see Allison Anderson, an artist who’s as comfortable with touchscreens and software as she is with paint and pencils. Watch the video to see a sampling of Windows 11 PCs and key features she looks for in creator devices, such as high-end processors, ample memory, SSD storage and color-accurate displays.

Windows 11 was designed to bring people together, to help people play and have fun, to empower productivity and inspire creativity. Recently, the Windows 11 2022 Update rolled out in more than 190 countries. This first major update to Windows 11, which launched in 2021, shows how Windows keeps evolving and adapting.

As the creator economy continues to grow, people are generating more creative content on Windows, including video. The latest update welcomed Clipchamp as an inbox app to Windows 11 to make video editing fun and simple with templates, effects and more.

Also built into Windows 11 is the Journal app, aimed at those who prefer using digital pens and touchscreens to write their notes, sketches and drawings without smudges, dull pencil tips and eraser shavings. Create digital art with Paint, which also built in with Windows 11. This lightweight app is always there if you want to quickly edit a picture, add text to images, or doodle with a variety of brushes.

The Windows 11 update also introduced a new photos-managing experience in its Photos app. It simplifies browsing, finding, management and consumption of your photo collection. It also allows you to easily backup your photos with OneDrive and now includes a “Memories” experience.

The Microsoft Store offers a bevy of apps tailored for pros and enthusiasts across creative fields. Serious photographers rely on Adobe Lightroom and Capture One for making precision edits and color-corrections to photos, and share their photography with the Glass community. On the audio and video front, Descript is an A/V editor that’s a favorite with podcasters and streamers, while the new desktop version of CapCut is ideal for creating fast, engaging clips for favorite sites like TikTok and Instagram. Design tools like Blender (for 3D modeling and animation) and Affinity Designer (for creating rich 2D graphics) thrive on high-spec Windows devices like the ones shared in the video above to help digital artists express their imaginations.

Why Clipchamp is an online app ! Why does that need an online user account , like Adobe Rush?! Why doesn't that behave like a native Win app (Video Editor, offline with no online user account)?!
