OS
Windows 11
The update seems to complete (it displays "You're 100% there" followed by "Something didn't go as planned") and then uninstalls whatever it had done.

My current system is:

Windows 11 Pro 24H2 build 26120.751
Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.6.0

I've tried several times with the same result. Any ideas of how to fix this?

Use the batch script to delete Windows updates cache and try again.

Alas, that didn't change anything. I had exactly the same messages after I ran that batch file and rebooted.

You may need to install from iso.

An in place upgrade will also fix corrupt, damaged and missing Windows files.

It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

This did indeed force a recheck for updates, but now it's decided that I am up to date even though my system is still on build 26120.751. I'm happy with that for now, we'll see what happens on the next update.

The update Windows is now trying to install has advanced to 10.0.26120.961 however the symptoms are exactly the same with this update.
