Is there a way to get dark task manager on build 22000.795 or this just a bit no .... thanks

No solution but my question would be if Win11 is in Dark Mode or Light Mode, could affect how apps are viewed.

I'm in Dark Mode and Task Manager shows up as white. That said, no answer to Hive's question. Sorry.

"Themes" will affect Task Manager, but themes are also universal, so they affect everything, even websites....

Windows' Dark Mode only affects Start Menu and Windows Explorer; it doesn't affect websites. Themes affect everything run on the computer - including websites

That said, I don't use "Themes". I just did the above to see what it would look like with Task Manager, and noticed it affects everything.

There are a few windows that need Dark mode yet, yes Task Manager and Control panel for sure I know there are others. Just find it odd Microsoft has all these NON Dark windows yet, its called dark mode and should be system wide. Just like google did with all their android apps etc it took em forever to get ALL Google Apps to have Dark Mode.

I agree and after using dark mode, any thing white looks way too bright

I use Night light from sunset to sunrise every day and find it extremely beneficial.

Yes use 3rd Party Process Hacker instead, it's better in every way, like Sysinternals (Long Owned by MS) Process Explorer, but with Dark Mode, unlike TM, or PE.
Note: as posted above you need v3 which is the nightly branch currently, I have had no issues using it.
Which is weird, as I long time back Switched from SysInternals Autoruns, to Comodo Autorun Analyser, because it was far superior.
Only this week, I switched back, because Autoruns is now virtually a clone of the Comodo feature set, but this time, it's just the SysInternals tool that has Dark Mode added.

I've been blind in one eye since birth, and using many 3rd Party tools to force Dark Mode since XP, so it's good to see almost everything I use has it as an option now.

On further use of Autoruns, found this feature, interesting, but just as puzzling.
One of the things NOT using dark mode, is the Explorer Properties Window, doesn't matter what opens it, dark moded or not it's been the same White window since forever.

Weird thing is Autoruns opens a Dark mode Properties Window.

It even Shows up my Shell custom Shell Extensions just the same, showing Link Shell Extension, with Hash Tab Shell Extension in next Tab. Which makes me Wonder why my dark mode Tabbed Explorer does not, after all SysInternals is owned by MS as well.
It was released way back in February, but I've only recently started using it again.

It's very easy to turn off high contrast for websites. You have to go to the browser settings.
Alternatively, you can use a custom visual style, like this for example: Dark by KDr3w on DeviantArt

Since KB5020044, I have a dark Task Manager.

Is there any way to force a light Task Manager?
I've tried changing default Windows Mode to light, but it changes the Taskbar to light, and it's terrible.
File Explorer is still light, but Task Manager is dark. Not very consistent.

As I said above, I'm just installed KB5020044 (Build 22621.898), and since then I have a dark Task Manager and a Light File Explorer.
I'd like both to be light without having the awful faded looking light Taskbar.
