Hi Guys,

Just navigating my way around Win 11 - a few things I don't like, a few things seem to be gone, but overall, it's looking good...

I do have a quick question regarding the apps that show up in the start-menu after a clean install of Win 11...

It shows things like "Lightroom", Whats App", "Photo Editor" etc, but when I look at the apps that are actually installed (in System Settings), none of the mentions apps are shown.

Are these, then, simply stubs that download the relevant app from the app store when clicked?

Cheers,

Mike.

Yeah, 'stubs' as far as I can tell. I tried is on a couple of photo appz (I think Adobe was one of them) and from memory it just takes you to the Microsoft store for download.

Welcome Mike. I noticed that but I didn't want them so I uninstalled them all without trying, just bloatware I call them (whether they are or not)
