for some reason big delay opening websites is it my internet should i restart adapter
also cleared history any other suggestions?

If I ever get delays on the internet, I do the following.

1. Turn my computer OFF.
2. Turn the router OFF
3. Push the tiny button on the back of the router, and keep it pressed for about 10 seconds.
4. Restart the router, then restart the computer.


Every now and then a router can get confused. Rebooting them usually helps.

Flush your DNS.
ipconfig /flushdns in a Command Prompt Admin.

You also need to keep us informed of your issues, previous and current.
Besides sluggish performance, if you're still getting pop-ups and re-directs, etc., your problem may be more deep-seated than just a corrupt resolver cache.

Are you running an anti-virus program, or malware program as a TSR? I believe these programs + late model "secure" computers slow down each website to check them for malware or viruses. It might also be a security issue with the newest updates from MS. Can't get around the need for security! You're not alone with this problem.

You may also want to temporarily disable any browser add-ons you have to see if they are the cause.
