Window Version: Windows 11 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.5335)

I am using Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds, which is connects to both Desktop and Mobile (Oneplus Nord2 5G/Android).

Every time after I hear a notification sound from my phone, or any sound, upon returning to desktop, the computer behaves as if someone pressed the play button: web browser, or spotify, whatever media app is open, starts playing.

This is annoying and I wish to stop this.

Under Bluetooth and Devices -> AutoPlay, the Use AutoPlay for all media and devices setting is already disabled.

Pls help.

Thanks.

@kaushiksv - You need to disable AutoRun as well as AutoPlay. You do this by editing the Registry but be very careful editing the registry. Editing is done in real time so if you make a mistake there is no 'Undo' or option to 'Discard changes'.
