One of the few things I really dislike about Windows 11 is the new two-page context menu that makes you click a second time to get "more options." Here is a really easy registry hack (3 minutes, tops) that gives us back the full one-click W10-style context menu (and it's easy to reverse if you decide to stick with the click):

How to Get Full Context Menus in Windows 11

I PM'd Walt to invite him to post the link in a new thread here in Personalization, but I don't think he's seen my message yet. My sincere thanks to Walt for the tip. I love it.)

Welcome. I sure hope more members see this thing, because this context menu two-clicker idea has been mentioned (and complained about) a bunch of times here, and this fix is the first one I've seen.

I'm really surprised there hasn't been more reaction on 11Forum to this truly useful fix. That business of having to click "more options" almost every single time I use the context menu was annoying me more and more. This is the cure.

See link in OP (#1)

Yeah, I had Take Ownership on Win 10, and it carried over to Win 11 and is still there without having to add it in again.
What you see in the context menu depends, as you know, on what you are right-clicking. Compare mine in #4 above with this one, on an executable file:

Also pretty easy to just run these as an admin in cmd...context & ribbon

How-To: Disable new context menu, Explorer command bar

No 3rd-party apps or patches or whatever, just a simple registry value. Restart Explorer shell to take effect.

Disable new context menu:
reg.exe add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32" /f /ve

Restore new context menu:
reg.exe delete "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}" /f

Disable Explorer command bar:
reg.exe add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{d93ed569-3b3e-4bff-8355-3c44f6a52bb5}\InprocServer32" /f /ve

Restore Explorer command bar:
reg.exe delete "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{d93ed569-3b3e-4bff-8355-3c44f6a52bb5}" /f
