One of the few things I really dislike about Windows 11 is the new two-page context menu that makes you click a second time to get "more options." Here is a really easy registry hack (3 minutes, tops) that gives us back the full one-click W10-style context menu (and it's easy to reverse if you decide to stick with the click):

Welcome. I sure hope more members see this thing, because this context menu two-clicker idea has been mentioned (and complained about) a bunch of times here, and this fix is the first one I've seen.

I'm really surprised there hasn't been more reaction on 11Forum to this truly useful fix. That business of having to click "more options" almost every single time I use the context menu was annoying me more and more. This is the cure.

This is a big annoyance so Brink will get to it eventually i'm in no hurry :cool:
Most 10 context menu addon regs still work on 11 like take ownership/....

Yeah, I had Take Ownership on Win 10, and it carried over to Win 11 and is still there without having to add it in again.
What you see in the context menu depends, as you know, on what you are right-clicking. Compare mine in #4 above with this one, on an executable file:

Reg Hack to get old context menu no longer works

With the latest build of Windows 11 (22000.168) the registry hack to get back the old right click context menus no longer works for me. Just wondering if it's the same for the rest of you who may have been using it. For the most part I can take 11 or leave it since the only 2 things I detested...
