Do you use 3rd party clients for email and cloud files?

I guess majority users use Google, Microsoft and Apple accounts for their emails and cloud files. While the official apps provided by these corporations are quite good for mobile devices as well as Desktops for the most part, they often lack useful features provided by 3rd party clients.

And with mobile apps, the official apps for cloud files lack support for external cloud files. The email clients, however, do support multiple services.

Do you use 3rd party clients to fill in this gap?

Personally, I stick with official apps due to privacy and security concerns, even if that means using multiple apps. I am comfortable sacrificing some useful features for the sake of privacy and security.

What do you do?

Feel free to list what you do for Desktop and mobile devices separately.

On the Desktop/ Laptop, I use the browser mostly. OneDrive is installed because I have a Office 365 subscription.

On mobile devices, I use the official apps for each service.

I use a browser extension Checker Plus for Gmail. Previously I used POP Peeper as an email client.
I like MS account integration within Windows and apps and onedrive is fairly nicely implemented.

I just point my browser to Gmail's website on desktop/laptop and on mobile, I use "Edison Mail" but I'm slowly migrating over to Apple's 1st party Mail app since Edison has been slowly moving to a place where they are begging/demanding you pay for features you don't even want.

As far as Cloud files... I do have 50GB iCloud, but I only use that for backing up my devices, I don't use it for cloud storage, for that, I use Dropbox as I hate OneDrive.

I don't bother with the cloud, no use for it. and for emails I use Outlook, it's part of the stand alone Office 2019 Pro Plus package

My Microsoft 365 subscription gives me Outlook and all of Microsoft Office plus 1 Terabyte of OneDrive cloud storage.
All my data and image files in OneDrive are mirrored in real-time on all my devices. I love OneDrive.

I don't use Cloud Storage much.
Mailbird is my email client / eM Client on my Insider Machine.
Almost exclusively Google products on my phone.

I use Microsoft 365 and all it's constituent parts, it's one of the best thing to come out of Microsoft and ranks alongside such greats as Windows 12

I use eM Client for my email on my new desktop. I don't check my emails on any of my other devices. For the cloud, I have OneDrive on all of my devices including my Samsung phone.
