If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

Thanks for all the updates!
One weird question: I have the Asus ROG-Strix x670E-A Gaming Wifi motherboard. I asked you back on the Asus forums thread which drivers I should use, and you said these ones for wifi and BT. These are similar to the ones that Asus originally had for this board on their website. And the install and seem to be working fine.

But for several months now, Asus has been updating their drivers page for this board with Intel drivers for both the wifi and bluetooth.
The audio and LAN drivers they're posting are similar to the ones you're posting (though often behind yours.) But for quite a few months now, and several updated drivers, they've only been posting intel drivers for wifi and bluetooth.
They currently have:
Intel WiFi Driver V22.170.0.3 For Windows 10/11 64-bit and
Intel Bluetooth Driver V22.170.0.2 For Windows 10/11 64-bit
as the drivers on this board's page for updates.
If you click on "see all downloads", the old versions of the AMD(Mediatek) drivers are still posted there:
AMD WIFI V3.3.0.467 for Windows 11,Windows 10 64-bit.(WHQL) and
AMD BT V1.723.0.164 for Windows 11,Windows 10 64-bit.(WHQL)
But they haven't updated them, and I'm sure that a lot of users didn't go out of their way to click on that to see the old drivers, when there are newer ones listed. They probably also aren't aware that these drivers appear to be for different chips than are on the motherboard.

I've tried installing both yours and theirs, and both seem to install. But when I look in device manager, it looks like the installed drivers for the hardware are the ones you're posting here.

Any idea why they're repeatedly posting a different series of drivers, which seem to be for different chipsets than are on the board?
Is someone there messing up repeatedly? Is someone confusing the Intel ethernet/LAN controller with the Mediatek wifi/BT card?
Or is this deliberate, for some reason?

Hi,

It's an mistake from ASUS staff (or at least a certain laziness that makes them not bother to distinguish which drivers match with which type of motherboard and its built-in WiFi/BT controller).

In order to have the precise reference of your built-in WiFi/BT controller, look at the end of your motherboard manual : https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/...0271_ROG_STRIX_X670E-A_GAMING_WIFI_UM_WEB.pdf

Too be clear, I wasn't doubting you.
I'm just wondering how this mistake keeps happening for several months and several different updates now. Or if maybe there was some reason for it, such as them believing that those drivers would somehow work better?
What's weirder is that they originally listed the correct drivers, but someone decided to switch them a few months back to the Intel ones when updating them.
It seems a pretty big oversight!
Is there anyone at Asus that can be contacted to make them aware of this apparent error, so they can post the proper updated drivers?

On the plus side, if you update your drivers in the Armoury Crate app, at least it looks for the correct AMD(Mediatek) wifi and BT drivers, though they haven't updated them from the same outdated AMD(mediatek) drivers they list on their webpage from September. It shows my "current version" as the ones I downloaded and installed from here, but the "latest version" as the outdated ones from Asus' site that I listed above.

Armoury crate also says that I have an outdated AMD graphics driver - and has been saying that for months, too - but I'm not trusting that, since I've been updating it within Adrenaline itself, and it says that it's the latest version.

If everything was perfect on ASUS side (support pages containing erroneous firmware/drivers, badly packaged, outdated and so on), my threads would have no interest and I wouldn't do what I do for ASUS users.

Anyway, if you have any concerns or questions about anything coming from your motherboard support page or Armoury Crate, contact ASUS Support and/or open a thread in ROG forum in this category : Hardware & Software Support.

Well, I posted about the problem there, and they took the wrong drivers off the page for the ROG Strix x670E-A board, though they haven't updated the AMD/Mediatek ones yet! Luckily, I have this post for that!
They also took them off the page for the similar ROG Strix x670E-F board. But they left them up for the ROG Strix x670E-E board. A closer look at the manual (as you suggested) shows that that board, while largely similar to the others, with only minor differences, does indeed have an upgraded Intel wifi/BT card, though they strangely don't advertise it or even list it on the specs on the page. I'm guessing that that may be where the confusion happened.

Thanks for the drivers. This the most stable driver I've found for my MediaTek MT7921. But I have a question, please answer it if you can. Even though the driver works great for the most part, there are some times the Wi-Fi icon would vanish from taskbar and also from the Device Manager.
When I enable "Show hidden devices" in the Device Manager, the adapter appears greyed out and has the following error message

"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)
To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

But Bluetooth still works? It's the same card for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi right? So is this a hardware issue of the card itself or driver specific? If you can please advise.

Even scan for hardware changes won't bring it back. Only a restart does.

Hi everyone,

I remind you that my field is the motherboards (DIY PC) and that all my threads are AIMed for ASUS motherboards only and not AIMed for ASUS notebooks/laptops/AiO (if you still wish use the drivers from my drivers threads for your ASUS notebooks/laptops/AiO, it will be at your own risk and I will not provide you with any support).

So if you have ASUS notebooks/laptops/AiO please stop complaining here and refer to your product support page to download/use the appropriate drivers for your product (if you have any issues with the drivers from your product support page, contact ASUS Support and/or open a thread in ROG forum in this category : Hardware & Software Support).

@MoKiChU Thanks for this thread. I know you have stated these drivers are for Asus motherboards only but the BT driver worked fine for me for my Gigabyte B650M Gaming X AX motherboard. The official website apparently has wrong BT drivers uploaded. I upgraded on feb 6th 2023 and today is the first time I saw the BT icon in my action center!

Hi,

You're welcome

As reminder, of all that I offer in my firmware/drivers threads listed in my index thread in my signature (even though they are AIMed for ASUS motherboards), only the audio drivers are ASUS specific.
