Easeus Todo Home 2024 - 50% Reduction in "Check Image" Duration

I just downloaded the latest update to Easeus Todo Backup Home (lifetime licences), which, among other things, updated the name.

What really surprised me was that the "Check Image" duration was reduced by over 50% on my ~150 GB system images from 34 minutes to 16 minutes. The long "Check Image" times were always a pain in the past, taking twice as long as the image creation process.

Is anyone else seeing this improvement? There was nothing in the update release notices about this enhancement.

Well, give Easeus is just about the slowest of the mainstream apps, maybe this is not surprising.

You can only really evaluate your results by comparing with other tools.

Most tools multithread now.

I also use Macrium every other week. Easeus "Check Image" durations were always more than twice as long as those for the "Macrium Reflect "Verify Image."

Easeus has apparently made a significant step toward closing the performance gap. Macrium Reflect is still the fastest, but the margin is now much smaller. I noted the phenomenon on my laptop today as well with the newest version during the "Check Image" process.

A 50% plus reduction in "Check Image" times by Easeus is significant. That, combined with a GUI that is not as intimidating to "newbies" as Macrium Reflect, makes it more worthy of being recommended to less computer-literate clients. The biggest challenge with them is to convince them of the importance of a robust backup strategy!
