Hello,

I change connection type between my Dell Ultrasharp and my NUC 14 Pro+, from HDMi/HDMi to DP/TB4 with this cable

Since then, eject device icon shows this :
Sans-titre-1.png

Éjecter = eject in french

Is it an usual flavor for DP/USB-C cables to be shown in eject icon ? I didn't have this with HDMi.

Thanks

Just a guess as it seems the cable has a PCB at the end so pop-ups the safely remove??

Maybe ... it must have a controller like all cables with different bus on each connector ?

It does. Colors, frequency, videos and games run fine in monitor native resolution. There's no display error in event viewer.

Except this oddity, everything runs well with display.

Thanks

I found PID of chipset cable connector : chinese manufacturer Chrontel.

Depending on chipset, cable itself is removable, or not : you're right, @Fabler2 :cool:
