Today I received an email from Microsoft ? about terms of contract. It appears to be legit but I don't want to take any chances.

The Source shows from msa@communication.microsoft.com. Internet search shows many but I still feel uneasy, one is this :

Search of Windows 11 forum had nothing .......

Has anyone else had something similar?

I feel if this a legitimate email they should let us go into our MS account to be able to sign any new agreement.
That way we know it is real.

Sorry if I seem paranoid ...........

The address ends with .microsoft.com “communication” that precedes it is a subdomain. You can create these with any domain name. It’s for in house organisation purposes only. e.x. questions.mitchathome.com “mitchathome.com” being the main domain.
But when in doubt, ask, as you have (y)

I totally agree. I’ve brought this up before. The best entity I receive any communications from is from my Government. They send a no thrills text only, no links, message telling me to log into my account and check my messages. Perfect.

Just to add. It is when you see something like this;
@microsoft.gmailscamartist.com that you should be concerned. delete, block.
in this instance, ”microsoft” is a subdomain created by someone from “.gmailscamartist.com” so as to try fool the receiver of the email.

Strange - decided today to agree to their new terms and when i went to the link I found NO where to click agree. Tried my MS account with same results. I have neither outlook or 365 - Any one else ? o_O

- If you agree then that is signified by continuing to use their services.
- If you disagree then stop using their services.
