This tutorial will show you how to enable or disable installed extensions for all or specific sites in Microsoft Edge for your account in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Extensions, or add-ons, are simple tools that customize your browser experience and offer you more control in Microsoft Edge.
You can turn on or off specific installed extensions for all sites as needed in Microsoft Edge without needing to remove the extension.
Starting with Microsoft Edge Canary builds, you can turn on or off all installed extensions for specific sites.
When you turn on an installed extension, the extension's icon will be added to the toolbar next to the address bar by default.
When you turn off an installed extension, the extension's icon will be removed from the toolbar next to the address bar by default.
