This tutorial will show you how to enable or disable to show flashing on taskbar apps for your account in Windows 11.

The icon of an app or service will flash orange/red with animation on the taskbar when attention is needed for it.

Usually, this happens when an app opens minimized or behind another window.

By default, the app icon on the taskbar will flash 7 times with an orange/red color, then stay highlighted to get your attention to click/tap on or open.

I don't have the option "show flashing on taskbar apps" in my settings. I am using Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.1098). Is this something that's not available for my version.

Is there any way to change the color of the flashing icon? I find it difficult to notice a new message in my chatting app with the new color (I recently upgraded from windows 10 to 11, and the color changed from bright yellow to pale red). Thanks in advance
