Event ID 4101, AMDKMDAG and amdwddmg keeps crashing

iv done everything from using amds cleaning tool and reinstalling the drivers, to using DDU and installing the latest drivers. Iv tried using older drivers. Nothing seems to work. My dosnt have a minidump file our a Memory.dmp

My setup is a laptop with an amd 3550H and an rx560x, currently out of warranty so i cant get acer to help with this without paying them

Is this the driver you are trying to use. https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-500-series/radeon-rx-500x-series/radeon-rx-560x
WHQL driver 22.5.1 dated 5/10/22. You can use the auto detect and install on that page which will detect correct driver, download, and install it.

You must remove the Adrenalin software first . How to uninstall https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/rsx2-uninstall

What happens when you disable the rx560x and use the integrated Radeon Vega 8 graphics?
Please provide a little more info about the problem; what you are doing when crashes occur and what is visible result when they occur.
Does it happen only when gaming? Describe exactly what happens. The more info you can provide is helpful.

Are you getting bsod? If so close this thread and reopen your issue with all the applicable logs in the bsod section of this forum so that it can get the attention it deserves from those more experienced in troubleshooting bsod.

Sometimes the game menus just stops working after the screen turns black, everything else works but that. Currently im using Burning testy to check my gpu, ran 3D graphics test and no crashes occur. So I'm not really sure whats going on.

Update: Ran userbenchmark, crashed during a gpu test where i had to shoot the object

That definitely narrows it down to either the RX560X or its driver. If you do a web search you will find many threads from others experiencing this issue with this card going back to 2019 and the threads I've read have not given a concrete solution. Some have suggested underclocking the gpu; others making a registry change; but I could not find either to be the definitive answer. It happens with both Windows 10 and 11. See if anything in this thread will help.reddit thread

I'm sorry that I do not have any further suggestions, other than replacing the amd card, preferably with an nvidia one. Maybe someone else will jump in and have more ideas for you.

Please run the V2 log collector and upload results directly into this thread.
If there are any problems using the V2 log collector please uninstall third party antivirus.
And if necessary use a share link (one drive or google drive)

The computer manufacturer, ACER, displayed no supported drivers for Windows 11.

There were a very large number of livekernelevents related to the GPU: 117, 141, 193, A1, 1B0

There were some recent BSOD: EF. 3B, 1AA

Consider the following:

1) Test only the drivers displayed on the ACER website:

a) Uninstall the chipset and GPU drivers
b) Reinstall the drivers displayed on the ACER website

2) If the above fails to address the Video TDR then:

a) Make free backup images and save the images to another disk drive or the cloud
b) Clean install Windows 10 > use drivers only from the ACER website
c) If there is improvement then only use Windows 10
d) If there is no improvement then restore the image as needed

3) Run:

HD Tune (free or trial version)

I have an Acer a515-54G and get the same 4101 error: "Display driver igfx stopped responding and has successfully recovered" after the August 25 W11 updates. Not sure if my intel gpu driver set from ACER "VGA_Intel_26.20.100.6911_W11x64_(UMA)" dated 2019 by Device Mngr is still compatible with the latest W11 update as I have not seen this error in the 3 years I am using this laptop. The 4101 error has been reported on many forums since 2016 (W10). I uninstalled the Intel gpu drivers with latest version DDU in Safe Mode and reinstalled the same gpu driver package (see above) that I just downloaded from ACER Support site but get the same 4101 error.
Anyone can help?

It is not happening a lot and someone suggested to turn off Fast Startup and Battery Saver power plan. I did both and thus far no 4101 error. no issues at all with my display so I may disable the Intel System Event channel for the optics. I also downloaded the latest Intel GPU driver set "gfx_win_101.3413_101.2111.exe" for my MOBO/CPU in case I get display issues later.

I bit the bullet and installed the new Intel GPU driver for my MOBO/CPU against advice from some ACER techs who maintain that only OEM drivers should be used. Used DDU in Safe Mode to uninstall and ran the Intel gfx_win_101.3413_101.2111.exe after reboot that includes a complete Display Installer with a lot of details during the process (selected Clean Install):

oem1.inf| iigd_dch.inf| No| Display| Intel Corporation| 19/07/2022| 31.0.101.2111
oem37.inf| mshdadac.inf| No| MEDIA| Intel Corporation| 19/07/2022| 31.0.101.2111

No more MEIx64 Event Codes 1,3 and 4 to be written to the System Event Log (slowed down my booting)
and
No more System error 4101 "Display driver igfx stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

RAPR (Driver Store Explorer) found 12 old (duplicates) .inf files that I deleted.

Thus far no errors or issues,

I discovered there was still the old OEM11 iigd_dch.inf in the driver store, somehow cannot be deleted by DDU and RAPR (protected). So I forced deleted that inf (duplicate) from 2019, and now Device Manager reports the correct 2022 driver package (see attached).
Meix64 info is back again (see attached), so only 50% success with this excercise

The 4101 error came back so it is GPU-Kernel related and in my case also W11 22H2 as this error started after the Sept. update both in Event viewer (warning-System) and in reliability history (HW problem). I found out that both my dedicated and intergrated GPU drivers are WDDM 3.1 W11 compatible so GPU acceleration enabled in W11 should not cause this error. Others reported 4101 errors in W10 caused by HW accelarion enabled in their browsers (Firefox) so I disabled GPU acceleration in Edge but left it enabled in Windows 11 Display Graphics settings. So far no 4101 errors or Kernel problem reports.
