I have ExplorerPatcher and OpenShell working well together except for one thing. When I start my pc I can use right click to open the openshell menu or shift and right click will bring up the win 11 menu, as it should. However after about 30 seconds or so the shift+right click does nothing. Anyone got any thoughts?

Not using Explorer Patcher but am using OpenShell having left the "new" Start button in the middle and shift plus right + click and right click are working as expected.

Just a thought but was OpenShell installed before Explorer Patcher? Maybe re-installing OpenShell might fix it?

I confirm the issue. I have experimented with the different options in "Openshell_Settings\Controls", amongst others with the middle click option (clicking the wheel), but same result after 30 seconds. So it's a general problem (with Explorerpatcher ?). What you can do for the time being is to restart the Windows Explorer or to set a start menu icon into the Openshell Start Menu (option in "Openshell_Settings\Main Menu"; third last entry).

[By the way, my (WIN 10 ) Action Center does not work anymore with the new ExplorerPatcher from yesterday, I had to go back to the previous version. Did you make the same experience ?]

Edit: sorry I just noticed that the start menu icon in Openshell doesn't work either; ... I hadn't waited long enough !

I am using an older version called classicshell as it does a couple of things better for me than the upgraded openshell. I used it for years before upgrading to 11 and then installing explorerpatcher Malc I also think it's not a reinstall job as my other pc is the same,

My action centre is working fine, so is my start button it's just that annoying little niggle which I guess happens when you try to get rid of the 11 start menu and then want it back some of the time :ROFLMAO:

I am using Open-Shell 4.4.169 (latest) and ExplorerPatcher 22000.258.30.6 (latest). I don't have the problem that you describe, and, I still don't know exactly why so many people prefer to use the old Classic Shell instead of the newer Open-Shell. I have been a loyal Classic Shell user myself for 8 years (2010 through 2017, on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1).
