As per title when I open file explorer it hangs for about 30 seconds or so with only the downloads folder showing then suddenly fills as it should and works fine. The not responding message appears but I'm unable to take a screen shot while it is there. It's the only real problem I've had since up grading to windows 11 I'm on 22000.778.

Thank you for that. I disabled easustodo shell extensions and file explorer went back to normal. I later re-enabled and it is still working fine.

I have the following issue with Explorer during deep searching for a file name while opening a Notepad text file or something else: Explorer crashes (see atached)

Someone recommends deleting the cache in Registry, I have not tried this:

"Basically you need to clear the cache that explorer is looking at when loading something like frequently used locations.
In regsitry under: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell
- Backup that hive
- Delete de subfolders BAGMRU and BAG
- Restart
- Fixed."

I read on another forum that the Text Font size should be left at default (100%), mine is at 125% (see attached) and that may cause my File Explorer hanging. I can't read File Explorer on my 16" TN (220 nits) screen with the default font size, too small and grey. The hanging only occurs when I click on something during a search with explorer, when I just wait it will complete searches OK.
