In my File Explorer files window my image or jpg image icons have a blue double arrow box on the lower left. See attachment image. Some dim and foggy memory in my nimble mind tells me it has something to do with OneDrive. How do I get rid of them?

Do you have Norton installed? That looks like Norton’s backup feature - Green tick = backed up, Red X = not backed up & blue arrows = file has been changed after it was backed up. These can be turned off under Norton’s Backup settings, deselect backup status overlays.

Yes, but the backup is turned off. I did use backup before so maybe I'll turn it back on and clean up the files, then turn it off.

I would recommend turning the backup on, deselecting the backup status overlays setting then turning off the backup feature if you’re not using it.

I did and it worked; all those irritating blue thingies are gone. THANKS!!! Now I remember what caused the problem; I'm getting old and, well, you know.

Great news. :)
I sometimes have to think hard to remember things on occasion.
