Just wiped my working Win 10 desktop system and installed Win 11. My AuthenTec Eikon Mini USB fingerprint reader and PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller show errors in Device Manager. I guess a driver problem, but can't find drivers. I built this machine a year ago, and haven't had to deal with this before. Thoughts suggestions. all worked fine under Win 10.

Ok. So the ASUS Mobo driver have been updated and the PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller error has neen solved. However, the FP reader has not. I have a clone of the previous Win10 drive that worked. I wonder if the driver could be found on it somewhere. Don't know where to look.

Also found this file. It looks like the correct one, but it is a .CAB file. I don't know how to get windows to access it.

Thanks for the info on installing from a .CAB file. However, Win11 has problems loading the .inf and it fails. I then tried a newer (2019) Elan USB fingerprint reader downloading drivers and it too failed. Both driver .cabs did not work. These readers work fine on WIN 10. I use fingerprint readers on all my machines. The other machines will not see W11, and rolling this one back is now a possibility.

In case others come across this thread, my Benss USB fingerprint reader has worked with 11. My Eikon and Elan do not as there are no compatible drivers. All work with Win 10.
