Hey all... When I open any folder and attempt to do a search in top right corner box w/Magnifying glass I click inside the box to start and NOTHING. I can do a general search via start menu search box just fine. I have checked that search is active in services, stopped and restarted it, set it to automatic. I ran chkdsk, and also SFC scannow and still did not fix the issue. I have no clue how to get my search within folders working again!

Pop this in a Run box, see if that works for ya:

explorer.exe shell:::{9343812e-1c37-4a49-a12e-4b2d810d956b}

If it works, create a shortcut of it.

Done, and it did not help. Search is still unresponsive.
