Force update windows 11 21h1 to 22h2 on not supported tpm laptop

I am running a P771DM-G with i5 6600 laptop with windows 11 21h1. I dont remember how i succeeded in upgrading to windows 11, but I did it. Not sure if it was via some registry hack or some other. but i tried the official registry hack now and windows update assistant still throws the windows not supported message for going to 22h2.
Is there any way I can force 22h2?

Yes, all cumulative and other updates will get installed through Windows update as normal. It's only Feature Updates that won't be offered. So that means you'll be OK until 23H2 arrives.

When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022.

Thnx for explanation. I just noticed I don't have explorer tabs.. eventhough I have 22h2. Any clue?

My System Two in My Computers below is an unsupported device running 22H2, and that has Explorer tabs.

Try checking for updates in Windows Update.

If that doesn't do the trick open the Store and see if there are any updates to be seen there. Some of theses changes are now delivered by Store updates, in particular the Windows Web Experience Pack and the Local Experience Pack.

My main pc never had to go into store for it. i did windows update and still dont have explorer tabs...

You'll have to install vivetool to the System32 folder and run in Powershell as administrator the following commands to enable File Explorer tabs:

vivetool /enable /id:37634385
vivetool /enable /id:39145991

Reboot Windows. You should now see tabs in File Explorer.
